Gray Reed - Ten Ton Nothing The X2 XDS95 Wireless System Advantage Free of companders, the system is designed to offer the ultimate in tone, performance and ease of use for performing and recording musicians - all without breaking the bank. Although X2 is a new company, they come with both a rich heritage and vast experience having been the first to develop digital wireless technology for musical applications. With the XDS95 there are no knobs to adjust or external antennas to loose or break. Simply plug in, power on and the system is ready to go. The system also offers five user selectable frequencies, so others in your organization can enjoy the benefits of digital wireless without stepping on each others' toes. The XDS95 from X2 delivers your tone and performance with the sound and feel of a direct wire connection - all at a price that won't break the bank.

Features include: 24-bit digital converters yielding 117 dB dynamic range to capture your most expressive performances without the use of companders, five simultaneously compatible channels, frequency response all the way down to 10 Hz for truly thundering lows, TRS 1/4" output for instrument and full-bandwidth or 'tuner out' applications, and a five segment LED display (battery status, link status, audio level and channel).

The operating the system is unlike any wireless you've tried before. Simply connect the transmitter to the source via the 1/8" threaded-collar locking connector and the "stomp-box" style receiver to your amplifier, mixer or pedal-board. Then power up making sure the transmitter and receiver are set to the same channel. That's it. You're ready to go! XD Series 24-bit Digital Wireless: Wireless for Any Stage
The concept of wireless is irresistible, but the reality is often a series of compromises: altered tone, increased noise and interference leading many potential users to shy away from it.

What if all of those problems just disappeared? What if your wireless sound was identical, or better yet, an improvement over your wired sound? Considering the significant investment you've made in your equipment, this would be a good thing wouldn't it?

The XD Series from X2 offers a variety of wireless solutions you've been waiting for. Designed specifically for music and live sound applications, XD Series wireless systems deliver your tone and performance with the sound and feel of a direct wire connection - all at affordable prices.

This is made possible with digital conversion. At the transmitter, a 24-bit converter captures audio signals at the source with full frequency response and full dynamic range and transmits the digital data to the receiver. The data is then sent to a 24-bit digital-to-analog converter and sent to the output connectors. The first thing you'll notice is that the audio signal is pristine - no noises and no compression. You'll also appreciate that all X2 systems are 2009 Compliant so they're free from FCC/DTV concerns.

X2 offers the XDS95, a portable stompbox system for recording, rehearsing or gigging, or the XDR95, a professionally equipped rack mount system featuring Q-DiversityPLUS™ (think true diversity multiplied by two) with extended range for higher level performances including larger venues. And new for 2008, the XDS-PLUS - a pro stompbox that has many of the XDR features crammed into its metal chassis.

Lastly, X2's products are designed and manufactured in the USA with over 10 years experience producing the finest digital wireless systems available being poured into everything we make. Read more
